I learned recently that people are having wedding reception guests dip their thumbs or fingers in green acrylic paint and making "leaves" on the branches of a painted bare tree.  The idea is to take a fine point marker and sign above/below the leaf just created.  The bride and groom then have a great heirloom that can be framed and displayed in their new home.  I think this is an awesome idea and can be expanded on.  If you have a fall wedding, then some reds, oranges and yellows can be used for the leaves.   Spring could see some white or pink added in with the green for flowers.  Even in winter, white paint could be used with a pinch of white/sparkle glitter applied to the wet "leaf".

I offer The Wedding Tree" in a 16x20 canvas panel or stretched canvas for $ 25.00, painted in acrylic paints.  Please contact me if you are interested in having one of these lovely momentos for your wedding!!
